Division 12 Assists in Helo Operation

On Sunday, October 7, 2007, members of Division 12 provided boating traffic control at the basin of the University of Delaware College of Marine Science in Lewes, Delaware, adjacent to Roosevelt Inlet. As part of the annual U.of D. Coast Day activities, a U.S.C.G helicopter rescue swimmer provided two demonstrations of rescuing a person in the water. The Division 12 boat crew consisted of Coxswain David Hermansader (12-03) and crew members William Miller (12-02), Steve Smyk (12-02) and Warren R. Huff (12-03).
